I wanted to share a review of our excursion. We usually take Princess Excursions, but this time, we decided to try LETS SEE Roatan tours, and it was the best decision we could have made. The itinerary was perfect, and our tour guide, Corvin, was fantastic! He was knowledgeable and personable, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We visited several places, including Mayan Eden Eco-Park to see sloths and monkeys, drove to the highest point of the island for pictures of the beautiful views and local shopping, Mayak Chocolate for learning, tasting, and shopping, and Roatan Rum Company, where we tried the amazing chocolate rum. We finished the day at the beach, followed by a stop at the ROATAN sign, which was a perfect way to end the excursion. - Cathy L10 contributionsThis was a fun filled day. Zip lining was so much fun. The crew was the best. They were extremely helpful and made me feel very safe. Sloths and monkeys were fun. The lunch at the restaurant there was delicious. Snorkeling was amazing. We were right off shore over the reef. The underwater life was beyond expectations. The horseback riding was ok. They were on a busy road for a big part of it and we never got on the beach. Booked the private tour offering us any location or sight to visit in his clean air conditioned van. Ensured we got back to our ship on time. The tour was never rushed, extremely friendly interaction. - FangirlBrittaFort Worth, TX72 contributionsWe enjoyed our tour with Roatan Five Stars. We visited Maya Eden and my kids loved holding a variety of animals and birds. It was the highlight of the day. If our kids were older we would have done the zip line tour while we were there. It looked really cool. We stopped for a couple of scenic photos at the top of a hill with the cruise ship in the background and at the large Roatan letters. If we could do it over again I would skip both the Chocolate Factory and Rum Factory and go to a sit down lunch somewhere instead before going to the beach to relax and swim. My kids weren't interested in the taste tests and stores; they just wanted to get to the beach. From the monkeys and sloths to the amazing views! The rum and chocolate was so yummy. He was so attentive, answered all questions, because of him we want to take a trip straight to the island. If you’re thinking about booking this tour then do it! It’s a fabulous experience! - Arielle P1 contributionWe highly recommend Roatan Tucan Adventures if you're looking for a tour operator in Roatan. My partner and I arrived on a Princess cruise, and we booked the Zipline, Snorkeling, Monkey and Sloth, and Beach package with them. What an incredible day! This company exceeded our expectations in every way. They are highly professional and turned our vacation into a marvel. Cynthia picked us up in a private car at the cruise port—immaculate vehicle and she felt like a friend throughout the tour. We visited sloths, toucans, monkeys, did Zipline in the jungle, and experienced amazing snorkeling. Later, she took us to enjoy fried fish at a local island restaurant and then safely back to the cruise ship on time. They are super responsible, and we highly recommend them. He was extremely knowledgeable about the island and drove us everywhere! We got to see the iguanas at Arch's plus the sloths, monkeys and parrots. They provided Air conditioned transport to and from the port to the dive shop where we signed in and got all our gear The dive boat was very nice and quickly got us to our dive locations. Great pointing out the spectacular ocean creatures. We saw several sea turtles, stingrays, eels, lobster, shrimps and many beautiful fish and corrals. Alex the other dive instructors were super helpful with getting in & out of the boat with all the dive gear on. We ziplined, snorkeled the reef, held sloths and toucans, went to chocolate factory and rum factory. We also stopped at Anthony's Key Resort. Jorge was great! He is a native of Roatan and was able to answer all of our questions. We could have stopped wherever we wanted but we kept with the tour plan. It was a private air conditioned vehicle. This was my first time booking an excursion with a company that was not through the cruise line and I loved it! He was knowledgeable about the entire island and shared with us so many historic and current details. He was so obviously proud to be a lifetime local in amazing place. He also listened to the type of experience we were searching for and adjusted our day to exactly what we hoped for right down to the amazing place we had lunch. We loved the conversation, the places we visited, and the people Davis introduced us to. The information and anecdotes we acquired in just one day changed our perception and enjoyment.
