- CarpentrNew Malden, UK179 contributionsWe stopped off in Rimov without enough time to do the whole walk, and decided 'just to do the first one or two'. The walk is not exactly obvious in the centre of town, but having located a map showing where the first one was we walked the short distance to it.
The first station is large and impressive, but closed. We could see the second, and walked to it, along the way finding a detailed map which showed the whole route. Having made the second we could see the third...
In fact we covered the first seven stations, and found a lovely sculpture in the woods as the eighth. The walk is in lovely countryside, is clearly marked and the stations give a clear direction and point to the walk - most of the time you can see the next one ahead.
In short, for a quiet afternoon out, with some pretty old sculptures and buildings to see and pleasant surroundings, the trail has a lot going for it. Saunas are good but for cooling benches you need to go upstairs, because all downstairs are heated.There was a trainee at the reception which caused the queue. Slide in the pool was closed half of the time.
