We held George the Dominican barn owl, Oscar the Harris Hawk, Paris the European Kestrel and Hercules the European Eagle Owl and Inca the British Barn Owl flew to our hands to be rewarded with a tasty chicken morsel.
Thanks to Ally and Staff for an excellent experience-Ally has an amazing knowledge of the falcons and owls and with everything she told us it made the hole experience even more enjoyable.

This museum, run by volunteers, is within the park of Blaise Castle and is well worth a look around, there is a wide variety of exhibits and activities for all ages, and the building itself is really beautiful.
We were pleasantly surprised, once you get past the crowded entrance and the large bit quickly overflowing playground, the park itself is very nice, hilly with nice views, the folly, and even a gorge with a river.

Staff were very helpful, knowledgable about birds, cafe and shop well stocked with quality items at reasonable prices, children spent lots of time in playground and the wetlands looked very lovely in the sun.
