A beautiful cathedral situated in the heart of the town a hidden gem it was awe inspiring on entry, the volunteer who gave us a tour guide plus explained some of the history it was much appreciated.
Our visit took in addition the great beauty of the cathedral boasting moving brass modern sculptures as well as the superb carved misericords and fascinating crypt.

On entering the church I was met by a volunteer guide who fantastically told me about the history of the church, the origins (originally High Church) and the current day use & congregation.
Walking down High Petergate you come onto St Michael Le Belfrey Church ,a wonderful piece of architecture in an area of outstandingly beautiful architecture.
