What travelers are saying
- Mars AtlasBishkek, Kyrgyzstan197 contributionsIf you are looking for serenity, calmness and true authentic alpine views of Kyrgyztan, then should visit Juuku valley. Its not polular tourist destination, which in my mind makes it more unique and calm place. The reason is one needs 4by4 to get there.
Its truly underrated place to visit. Many animals are available to see. I personally saw fox, rabbit, eagles while driving there.Written December 26, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dirk WAlexandra Headland, Australia6,464 contributionsGood spot with wonderful views, especially of the landmarks "broken heart" and "7 bulls", with the backdrop of even more spectacular mountains. The red rocks, green forests and snowy caps make for great photos.Written November 7, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JGDynamoCanada2,158 contributionsThe Przewalski Peak was another peak we were hoping to summit last summer when we were in the area but some things beyond our control prevented us from having enough time to get up and back so we were contented with driving up to the ski hill area and admiring the peak from points around that. We will come back and summit the peaks we didn’t have time for. The skiing we heard is amazing in this part of the world so we will have to return to try that out too.Written July 3, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alex_Johnson_BishkekBishkek, Kyrgyzstan885 contributionsI have done some trekking near Djigit Peak but I have never been on top of the peak. I would love to do a summit someday but it's not so easy. In general it's an amazing mountain to see. You can find it by trekking up the Karakol Valley and then trek to the left and you will cross the Karakol River. Please use a map!
