It is a monument to Chief Designer of space rocket which brought the first satellite and the first man to the space. Nobel Prize committee wanted to nominate Chief Designer of the first satellite to the prize, but Nikita Khrushchev, Soviet Union leader at that time, said, that this is an achievement of all soviet people. Sergey Korolev became known for public only after his death in 1966.

The Church in the name of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity on Valentine's Field (Holy Trinity Church in the town of Korolev) was founded in 1999. The wooden temple was built in 2003.
The two-story brick Trinity Church was built in 2915 in the spirit of pre-Mongol cathedrals next to the wooden church. On the lower floor are the thrones of the Pochaev Mother of God and the Nativity of the Forerunner.
In 2007, the rector of the temple purchased and consecrated bells for the temple under construction.
On August 28, 2009, a cross was erected on the bell tower of the church. From now on, six crosses adorn the domes of the Trinity Church and the bell tower.
The temple was consecrated on May 17, 2015.

Rocket-Carrier Vostok brought the first satellite and the first man to the space. Its engines have 20,000,000 horsepower. Citi Korolev is a space research and production capital of Russia, this nice monument located in a right place.

The Church of the Holy Martyr Vladimir in Korolev was built in 1994 as a temporary building from prefabricated modular structures. The project was created by the chief architect of the House-Building Plant Sergei Grigorievich Shumilin and the architect Galina Nikiforovna Kinyapina. The temple was demolished in 2012. The new stone temple is a kind of monument to the stone temple Na Bor, which stood in the Moscow Kremlin for six centuries, until in 1933 it was destroyed by order of Stalin when the two halls of the Grand Kremlin Palace were merged. The temple is unique in its own way for the domestic temple building. This is a basilica with open arches.
