- Lynne D3 contributionsI wasn’t sure what to expect but it turned out to be a super visit. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the caverns were amazing and the restaurant is worth a visit in its own right.Written May 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- UlverstonJanetUlverston, UK696 contributionsWhile looking for things to do to break up a journey to York I came upon an article about this place. It’s certainly very different, sculpture on a massive scale. We visited on a wild cold day and the walk up to the cut was vey wild. When we entered the area the wind nearly blew us over. We walked out to the viewing area looking over the quarry. It’s a huge site. Walking up the spiral side walks we were impressed with the vista. We could see for miles. It’s an impressive place to visit. Have recommended it to friends travelling to Yorkshire.Written October 10, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Alison52Bordon, UK405 contributionsThis is one of Pateley's hidden treasures - a bit off the beaten track away from the high street but well worth seeking out with something for all ages. To be honest there is far too much to take in on one visit. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and the exhibits both highly varied and well presented. The only drawback seems to be the somewhat erratic opening hours.Written March 1, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Rosa BeagleRipon, UK44 contributionsStunning countryside. It was a really nice trip. Being able to cross the dam was a really nice touch. Will be coming again with some family.Written March 21, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Allan CIpswich, UK498 contributionsGreat selection of lots of old varieties from childhood! It made me ignore my pre-diabetic condition and buy small qualtities of several well remembered sweeties from the past. They will be carefully spaced out over the next week or three!!Written November 11, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
