A wonderful degustation lunch paired with wines and far too much fun was had, recommend them to anyone interested in having fun, learning about the local area and exploring wine varietals.
We were picked up from our accommodation in a very modern and comfortable van and were gifted with a complementary bottle of wine from a local winery from Simon & Cindy which was a lovely touch.

Had a recommendation to visit this winery and lived up to that....great staff very helpful, fantastic product....went home with a boxfull of good wines...
The wines are very diverse and love the quirkiness of them being named after various African animals, with that theme throughout the cellar door.

To look out on the wines from the cellar door is spectacular - the vines growing were magnificently manicured and cared for with loving, passionate producers.

Our wine tasting with Marty was wonderful...she was so happy to introduce us to all their wines and even led us through a surprise tour of the behind the scenes wine making process.
I must say it was great to see a toy box and books for the kids to read and keep busy while we tried some wine, it’s so lovely to still be able to do wineries when you have small children with you.
Tobin Winery Ballandean, Australia 6.1 mi away

The wines are fantastic, Adrian is a purist (and probably a perfectionist!) and we are yet to find a cellar door that gives us a fresh glass every time we try a wine.
Try their 2 different blocks of shiraz that are treated exactly the same in their viticulture and when vinified yet taste subtly different, as one block is 10 metres higher in altitude than the other (already over...

Warmly received by Denise, the owner and cellar door located within her historic home.

... on the veranda as the sun set across the vineyard enjoying our tipple (very nice drop too by the way), enjoyed the cheese and crackers and watched the kangaroos as they hopped through the lanes between the vines.

I have visited possibly 200 wineries and the detailed tour was the most informative and personal I have ever experienced, down to access to their laboratory.
I’ve only very recently started drinking wine and Sonya was more than accommodating, taking me and my partner through the whole process and explaining the wines, taste and the winemaking process.
