Great place for a weekend. Churches, icons, all with flowers by the river Oka. Splendid views from the riverside

I visited this monastery in the morning. Beautiful and good place with history, since 1096. Wonderful place to walk around and take a pics, be a little bit deep to history. I love the place like that. Recommend

This monument close to monastery, simple and new one, not old. But behind the monument you can find the rabbit 🐇, which you can touch and wish some thing good. Good luck 🍀

Winter makes the bridge and Oka River in Murom beautiful.
I also saw two people fishing or at least trying to.

This is huge monument close to river bank. The new one, but good with good view to the river Oka, the monument inside the park, where you can get some fun

Karacharovo is known as a place Ilya Muromets, Russian warrior, spent 33 years procrastinating before he finally stood up to make something big out of his life. I expected something more than a tiny church (beautiful though!) and a souvenir shop (some souvenirs were really cool!) but I believe Ilya is such a good object for creating something interesting or entertaining in Murom and its region that over the years this place will be turned into something really worth visiting.

Great sign for history-lovers. Feels like in a fairy tale (bylina) as if you were a warrior 1300+ years ago

This building is old and working properly still. This is good place to take a pic of water tower. In sunny day this place I thing amazing looking. Unfortunately for me I’ve been there in cloudy day.
