What travelers are saying
- Mrs KCounty Mayo, Ireland66 contributionsVery quiet.
We were here before the start of the season. Not a lot open.
Seems to be a few places to eat.
The ones we did experience (bar one) were excellent.Written February 27, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A (much braver than us) couple swam out and managed to get on board. If anyone recognises them - please pass on these photos (taken 22 Feb 2025)Written March 3, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RachelLondon, UK8 contributionsI visit twice a year and always try to get along to the Peyia market which is held in the stadium car park. Such friendly people to chat with, some delicious food, and lovely crafts to choose from. I will be there again in June/July 24 and pick up some of the caramelised nuts for my friend (I will not be forgiven if I do not) 🤣Written May 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bryan H7 contributionsLooking for someplace different in Coral Bay for a drink? Come to Bar El as they brew their own beers/lagers and they're really good. - Andrew LLeigh, UK4,988 contributionsStunning blue waters. Soft light sand. Calm waters to swim in. Less noisy than its larger neighbour (coral bay) as fewer boats anchor here. Standard Cyprus price for 2 sunbeds and brolly (7.50). Lovely spot. Decent cafe on the beach with shade to retreat into.Written October 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ellabreeze57York, UK380 contributionsI booked a hack after visiting the yard. My family live in Cyprus and I have passed many times. The weather in February is ideal for riding, cool but sunny. I was amazed by the number of horses and ponies, over 50 in total ranging from quiet beginners ponies to high level dressage warmbloods imported from Spain and Germany. The owner is an experienced dressage trainer and rider.
I was allocated a forward going but sensible Spanish mare with a snaffle mouth and escorted by Kule the Manager, riding a very smart dressage horse who was very full of himself( the horse). We rode along the coast taking in the breathtaking sea caves, mainly walking and trotting, a great way to spend a cool morning in Peyia. They cater for all levels with opportunities for more experienced riders to explore the area on well trained horses. I will certainly be back and would highly recommend the place. Be honest about your level of experience to ensure you are matched with the right horse. Mine was certainly not the usual riding school plod and more like riding out with a friend on a really well mannered horse.Written February 20, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Resort6010111 contributionRecently visited Coral bay in Cyprus, having two teenagers who needed something to do in the afternoon we decided on giving go-karting a visit. The experience was excellent. My son and I decided to go for the 30 minute session, which is broken down into two 15 minute sessions with a 10 minute break in between. (This is needed for it gets really hot when racing round the track). My daughter who has only raced once before even took part for a 10 minute session, and she really enjoyed it. Prior to starting the safety briefing was given which was good and on the same level with many tracks in the UK. All safety gear was of an excellent standard, and the Karts are in excellent condition. The track is short but you can really get some speed along the starting straight which then leads into some sharp twisting bends and then back onto the straight. All staff on the site were really helpful during our time there. There are facilities to sit outside in a seated and tabled shaded area or inside with a seated/tabled area. Drinks and snacks are available. Toilets are clean. Their is also the facility to lock up personal belongings. Overall an excellent experience.Written August 22, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DotsayAurora, IL24 contributionsBest cocktails in town. We literally bought same drinks at other bars and this place was the winner. Great place to stop in after dinner for late night entertainment, as most acts don’t start performing until 9:30pm. As in most places, smoking is allowed at any of the tables, so it kind of ruins your night once someone lights up next to you.Written May 24, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Priti DLeicester, UK17 contributionsA nice clean spa with basic facilities, but what made it really special was the warm welcome from Lynn the receptionist. Really reasonable prices and much cheaper than the other hotels and spa resorts. I booked a spa mini package and booked my two teenage girls into the princess package. The girls really
Enjoyed the pampering and the therapists were so friendly and spent time getting to know us. Thank you and would recommend the services and staff.Written July 20, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
