- Johannes S1 contributionOur hotel recommended Marco Polo Safaris to us and provided an email address. We are a family with two young boys, aged four and six, so we inquired about possible trips with children. Marco answered promptly and provided great recommendations. We decided on a two-day safari in Tsavo East national park. The payment was easy and came with clear instructions.
Our driver Abdul picked us up in the morning. A cooler with water bottles was ready and remained filled during the entire trip. Abdul was extremely helpful, experienced, and friendly. He really wanted to make sure we had a good time.
Minutes after entering Tsavo East we saw the first animals, including two lions. Abdul's ability to spot these animals was impressive. He also stayed in contact with other drivers on the radio to gather information about sightings. Our boys asked tons of questions, and Abdul answered them all.
We stayed at the Aruba Lodge, which was great. Everything had been arranged and paid for in advance, except for the drinks (this had already been communicated in advance).
The whole trip was perfectly organized. The package also included lunch and the food was sumptuous. Alex was our guide, he is great, a real professional with high ethical standards, we have truly appreciated his honesty, his passion for wild life, his can-do attitude. Our tour was amazing, we felt "at home" in the car (my husband, our 10-year old daughter and myself). Have used this company for several years now, always flying out from Diani (Ukunda airstrip) up to the Mara and staying at different camps. Our last was Governors and was as spectacular as ever. Never had any problems at all and will continue to book with Caroline hopefully for many years to come. - EasyBobEngland250 contributionsWe had 2 4x4 vehicles for about 10 days, which Julius provided for our family safari to Kenya. Everything was organised brilliantly! We had 2 wonderful drivers, Kennedy and Saidi, and they were ever so friendly and made sure we were looked after.
Julius is super friendly, and reliable, you can be sure you will be looked after if you safari with his company.

The instructions were clear and the staff very professional. The professionalism extended to just the right amount of humor and friendly banter to ensure that the clients were put at ease before the jump. Would do it again... and again.
