We weren’t actually able to see any Colobus monkeys, but that’s the nature of not keeping them caged (which is obviously good!) - Wendy S1 contributionOur trip to Kenya exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful country with incredible people. One of those people was Joseph. He took care of all of our transfers. He was extremely professional and he was very quick to respond when making the initial bookings. Before we left I had to arrange some last minute transfers for one of my sons, which he did without any issues. The drivers that he arranged were always on time, knowledgable and professional. Everything ran like clock work. He even arranged to meet us when we arrived in Nairobi at the airport, and he had travelled from Mombasa especially to be there.
Joseph also arrange a safari for the other family we travelled with, and was instrumental in booking a house for us in Watamu. Everything about it was excellent - the hotel pick-up from Shanzu, the flights from Mombasa and back to Mombasa (3 of us) and Ukunda (one of us), and the pick-up from Ukunda airport - all brilliant and on time. Our stay at Fig Tree Camp was superb, out driver Julius was hugely knowledgeable about the animals and a real expert in getting our vehicle into great viewing positions. We saw all 'the big five' and very much more besides. The safari far exceeded our expectations and nothing was too much trouble for Julius or for Fig Tree. We were looking for a mid-range safari option and this was excellent value. We cannot fault it and highly recommend Marco Polo, Mombasa Air Safaris and Fig Tree Camp. The package also included lunch and the food was sumptuous. - Beverly W10 contributionsWe booked an eight day safari, choosing our lodges before we went. EVERYTHING was handled efficiently and courteously. Harry gave us a briefing the day before we left and explained to us what to expect. Our driver, Nguta, was there on time the next morning and for eight days was fabulous! Always happy, patient, with a great sense of humour and laser sharp eyes. We cannot recommend highly enough Harry and Oranje safaris. - The_travell3rsBeijing, China22 contributionsGreat experience with Natural World Kenya with safaris in Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Tsavo East and West and Amboseli! While organising our trip, the staff was responsive and competent and very flexible in helping us find the best combination of activities for our trip. We picked the accommodations and things were absolutely in line with the standards required. Transport was sorted for the entirety of our trip with pick up and drop off at the airport and at the various hotels where we were staying also outside of the safari days. We could always count on someone on the other side responding promptly to our messages and finding solutions. - Marion4 contributionsWe didn't plan to learn kitesurfing. But after watching the instructors we decided to give it a try. And we have not regretted it at all! Our kite instructor was professional, calm and specific in his statements and always within reach when we needed his help. The whole atmosphere was very relaxed and the owner super uncomplicated and professional. We would come back anytime! - Ann M1 contributionWe contacted Felix via email concerning our safari. He explained to us everything in details and eventually opted for the Ashnil Camp and Severin Safari Camp in Tsavo East and Tsavo West respectively. The camps were just amazing with great personalized service as well as delicious food. Our driver Kelvin was so nice and seemed to know everything and answered our many questions with great skill. We saw all the big four except the rhino to complete the list of the big five. Upon arrival we passed by the office where Felix met us and wanted to know if everything went well although we were in constant contact with him during the safari using the driver's phone. The price quoted was value for money as everything was included except drinks at the restaurant. - Sarah S3 contributionsHad a great experience with Quest. Took about 15+ hours of one-on-one lessons over the course of a few weeks and loved it (starting as a true beginner). My instructor, Sam, was fantastic and very knowledgeable. The rest of the team is professional, friendly, welcoming, and super on top of things. Really appreciated how they prioritized making sure everyone stayed safe.
