- AR-WestonPretoria, South Africa14 contributionsAbout one week ago my friend and I had the tremendous pleasure of going on a one day Pilli Pipa and Wasini Island tour with Wild Kenya Safaris. This tour visits the famous Kisite Marine Park and involves snorkeling at two sites within the marine park. This is followed up by a delicious seafood lunch on the picturesque Wasini Island. One traverses to the marine park and to lunch in an expertly manned dhow. The crew were great and extremely helpful both on the boat and in the water. Arrangements for our tour were seamless and for this we are most grateful to Shazaad. - Sylwia P1 contributionWe went for a 3-day Safari - Tsavo East + Amboseli. Beautiful view of Kilimanjaro and lots of animals in Amboseli. We recommend trip with the best team: the guide "Little Obama" with a driver: Kenneth Macharia (Bush Pilot). - hamandar iUnited States1 contributionWe made our booking with Anthony back in December 2023 for a 10-day holiday that encompassed visits to Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Thomson Falls in Nyahururu, Meru, and Masai Mara. The logistics and accommodations were fantastic, and our driver, NICK, was excellent! Starting and ending in Nairobi, the safari trip was truly fantastic
However, I would like to highlight two points: Firstly, I recommend against paying fully in advance as I did. Though everything worked out fine, it caused some stressful moments. Secondly, for those booking hotels in Masai Mara, ensure you receive confirmation directly from the hotel. Our original hotel was unavailable upon arrival, leading us to make urgent arrangements at Sarova Masai Mara, which incurred extra costs compared to Mara Sopa, the initially planned resort.
Overall, despite the payment and booking hiccups, the service and trip were outstanding, especially considering I traveled with family. The team kept us busy the entire day by telling us about Diani and all is wonders which made the trip go so well as we dint feel like we where waiting. When the action came WOW 1 sailfish hit the line and the crew where up and ready like lighting. The boat has a wonderful feel and is really comfortable and it is perfect for both family and friends. We were able to see Dolphins besides snorkeling and enjoying a great deal of sea food. He also gave us a highly dscounted rate to Horohoro which is the border of Kenya and Tanzania and Shimba Hills reserve. It was an interesting holiday safari for us and we really enjoyed every bit.
