We worried our kids were a bit old for a children's museum (11, 13, 15), but even the older kids had a great time, and so did Mom and Dad.

While the museum placed much emphasis on the history of the Amoskeag mills, where it is located, it went beyond that to explain the history of Manchester, particularly its rich ethnic heritage.

The day we were there, they had two young calves, a rather large rabbit, miniature pony, three adult goats and two kids, all near the main museum.
