- Zoecat18South Yarmouth, MA14 contributionsHuge, diverse collection of antiques, truly something for everyone. A good way to spend some time. Don't miss the trains upstairs on Saturdays!Written October 12, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ErinnElisabethNewtown, PA197 contributionsI was so pleased with this business. I fell in love with a little planter chair, and the owner searched high and low to find a missing dowel to make the chair just right. She kept in touch and did an amazing job!Written October 4, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Carol9 contributionsReally interesting store with very nice owners. Nice mix of vintage modern and rustic. Happy owners of this sign and other items.Written January 29, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- NHjoSaco, ME4,491 contributionsI'm not a huge fan of antiques or quirky items, but this store is something else. You could spend a few hours in here just examining all the stuff they have. It's an 'eye-glazing' factor for me, though, so I was in and out in five minutes after doing an overall sweep.Written October 9, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- StarWeezNH690 contributionsThis shop offers you a nice break from the beach and the beach crowds. Go down US 1, south of Hampton and across the salt marsh. The shop is on the right. Brentwood antiques concentrates on jewelry, textiles, and housewares. You won't find much automobilia. There are some tools upstairs. The shop has a hobby train store attached on the upper floor for all you train aficionados.Written April 13, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- redjeep14Cheshire, CT255 contributionsDidn’t expect such a large shop downtown. Nice variety of stuff from multiple vendors. Well maintained booths and facility. Prices were as expected or better on most items. We found several “treasures”. Some vendors have a discount for cash.Written July 20, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Louise MCastle Rock, CO3,297 contributionsI love finding unusual places like this, you never know what you might find! I just happened to mention that I loved rocks, and Cheryl pulled out a drawer full of rocks they had had for quite a while. I made an offer and left with a couple of nice specimens for my collection! Bruce was also very friendly and accommodating.Written September 15, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Juli TPhoenix, AZ273 contributionsAfter having a fantastic lunch at Polly's Pancake Parlor on a quietly drizzly day, we stopped into Applewood Antiques for "shopping dessert." Wow. Like beautiful antique dishes? Silver? Brooches? You name it, they have it, and an unbelievable selection. Incredible, really. We have nothing like this shop in Arizona. And the owners were just as warm and interesting as you would dream about from a place called Sugar Hill. What a great way to wrap up our last blissful day in New Hampshire! - J-from-MarysvilleMarysville, OH866 contributionsWe were met at the door by a very nice Newfoundland dog. She was wanting attention, especially a belly rub.
There are three areas to look for antiques here: the building attached to the house, the side yard, and the barn. A wide variety of antiques to pick from.
Worth a look.Written July 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Russell BPoland, NY89 contributionsStopped here on way back to NY. Nice Variety ! Good Prices. Found some neat items. :) Friendly Staff.Written March 24, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Maurene_KDover, NH9,359 contributionsFern Eldridge & Friends Antiques is located in a historic two-story barn built in the 1700’s. It is on Northwood’s Antique Alley on US Route 4 right next to the Northwood Town Hall.
This antiques shop hosts a number of dealers and specializes in authentic, unaltered antique furniture with its original finish, plus other home décor. Most of the furniture is small to medium size. There were few larger pieces. I did see some mid-sized table and chair sets. During my visit, I admired several candle and occasional tables as well as some paintings. I particularly liked a painting of USS Constitution a/k/a Old Ironsides.
The shop has a wide variety of items. I also saw Shaker baskets, china and pottery, serving pieces, a tea set, mirrors, a coat rack, folk art, wooden bowls, wooden boxes, wooden chests, lanterns, candlesticks, chandeliers, a model ship, some collectibles, and a number of quilts and other textiles such as braided and hooked rugs.
In one area, there was an extensive collection of wooden duck decoys on display.
There was one case up front that had some jewelry. Most pieces were cameos. Nearby were some walking sticks.
There was one architectural piece I admired. It was a clear window with blocks of colored glass panes all around the edge.
The shop is arranged in room format which gives the place a rambling-on-forever quality, so it’s a great place to get lost exploring all the treasures in search of that special find.
Many of the items are in exceptionally fine condition and have commensurate prices.
I rate Fern Eldridge & Friends Antiques at 4.75. I highly recommend a visit.

Someone has done a very nice job organizing the space. It is now easy to shop the various booths. Although tiny compared to the large market in Quechee, there is still a lot of interesting merchandise to enjoy.
My wife found a real treasure in a drawing that caught her eye. Turns out to be worth much more than she paid. She is not selling it, but it is fun to know she found a bargain.Written October 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Green1MaMA443 contributionsLots to see in this two story antique shop downtown. There was also a wide range of items from different eras in all price ranges. Plan to spend at least 30 minutes. There is on street metered parking.Written January 17, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- J-from-MarysvilleMarysville, OH866 contributionsSmall collection of antiques. I didn't find anything here. Mostly along the line of primitives. Two floors to look through.
Give them a look.Written July 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Kenneth GManasquan, NJ1 contributionDo not waste your time. Mr. Smith is a liar and con artist. Don't trust a word he says or a product he sells. Not a very nice person. Reward someone else with your hard earned money not this guy!Written February 25, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
