Fantastic views and whilst energetic it really is an easy stroll through the natural bush to check out a bit of history and beautiful sea vistas

The walk along the boardwalk up over the hill from Nelly Bay to Arcadia is superb on a beautiful morning - the sun glistening on the water, the wonderful views of the dramatic landscape from the top of the hill.
A beautiful walk through the bush, you can turn off along the way to go to the Forts well worth the diversion to see some magnificent grass trees near the forts end.

There is a sandy carpark at the end, and we had to help push a mini-moke out when it got bogged, so watch out for those soft spots! the beach itself is gorgeous, and would be a great place for a picnic.
Just make sure you take Tropical Strength Mozzie Repellent and a jacket/long pants as it can get cool after the sun goes down.
Balding Bay Magnetic Island, Australia 3.4 mi away

Follow the walking track from Horsehoe Bay to find this hidden gem!
The walking track is moderate, bring water and good shoes, but it worth!
