Set in delightful gardens which were at their best when I visited on a warm, sunny day, the whole building exudes an atmosphere of history and the information provided throughout the tour is fascinating.
I was welcomed by a charming and very helpful young lady and found the 14th century building and exhibits very interesting, aided by the informative printed guide (there is also the option of an audio guide).
