We had an extraordinary experience with Benny during his star-gazing gourmet picnic! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty of nature and Benny's passion for sharing his knowledge. His wonderful stories about the stars and the natural world truly brought everything to life.
The picnic itself was a delightful blend of delicious food and breathtaking views, making it a perfect evening. A geologic layer cake of sandstone & limestone, a cliff dwelling, a lush river valley, and both extant and abandoned homesteads. Incredible stargazing once the sun set! 3.5 hours for a 40 mile round trip. We did the evening wine tasting ride. Would only do the wine tasting again if it were the evening for Arizona wineries. With temps in the 90’s, touring in an air conditioned SUV is the way to vacation! His knowledge of Sedona was incredible. We engaged in conversation throughout the trip.
There is no other way to visit the wineries, he was on a first name basis with every stop. Kayaks were kept real nice and everyone from the kayaks to the wine experience was so fun! We end up purchasing a bottle of “sexy time” which was our favorite wine.
