If you happen to get a sunny day, I would recommend taking the drive to River Affric, both in the morning and then again in mid-afternoon, so you can see it with the different lights based on the sun.
well worth the drive, although lots of passing places to negotiate and some people just drive a bit to fast.

Nutmeg is slightly cheeky but a fine horse who loves cuddles lol which Ian is generous to giving to all his horses and she likes to be the one in front - a horse after my own heart.
Just follow the signs for Trekking / Plodda Falls, go past the car park for Plodda Falls and continue along the track for about 10 minutes further and it's easily seen on you right.

Incredibly knowledgeable live commentary, great facilities on board, amazing views of Urquhart Castle from the Loch too!
Well worth the time and the price, try and get to the gift shop early (Celtic Crafts) - thats where you book your trip, to ensure you get onto the cruise for your chosen time.

We walked all afternoon without meeting anyone and thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of this hidden gem.
Glen Stratfarrar is a gem off the beaten track, note that in busy times you may have to get there early because they only allow 25 cars in every day.
