We have been into the Cathedral before but were keen to see the exhibition in the restored library the building is free to enter which is always nice and has an excellent cafe with a pleasant outside area in good...
An extension to the cathedral to exhibit the mappamundy and the chained library is well worth a visit if you are interested in how the earth was drawn by early scholars as well of volumes of medieval books.

This was offset by areas on each floor of interactive things to touch, put on, or play with For £2.50 per adult, this was a very good value visit which kept us occupied for over an hour

Very helpful and friendly staff, who were generous with their local knowledge, an excellent cider tasting, a bonus of gin tasting and then along with cider's purchased, coffee and scone avec jam and cream for £4.
... it made today we then had a sampling session at the end which was great to taste the difference ciders there a lovely little tea shop to have a cup of tea and the gift shop has loads of lovely items to purchase

Well worth it - great atmosphere and excellent giuoded tours with history and interesting stories a very relaxed experiemce - lovley garden to wander around and good coffee in the tea room.

Our second visit to the town of Hereford, we very much enjoyed walking around the churches in the heart of the city it was a very busy place to visit with its cafe and an Glass Art exhibition.
Interesting, beautiful architecture, lots of information to read, this was a joy to visit.
