It's a nice change of pace from the hectic London life, with plenty of nice grassy areas to explore, a huge lake to walk around or go for a bike ride, trees, birds, squirrels, and plenty of space for a picnic.
The park itself was a lovely green space away from the busy streets and the statues and monuments were incredibly interesting, some of my favourites were the Albert memorial, the Peter Pan Statue and Serenity.
