Vetreria Murano Arte - VMA Venice 0.3 mi away

Stefano was very gracious during the glassblowing demonstrations & afterward as we shopped in the gallery.
Allow yourself plenty of time to wander from shop to shop admiring all the stunning pieces on sale and display.
L'artista della barbaria Venice 1.3 mi away
#3 of 389 Shopping in Venice
It's slightly off the main shopping streets, so the prices are good, with clear indication of which masks are local and hand-made.
... come across L'artista Della Barbaria when we were researching responsible tourism in Venice and we were so happy we traveled "off the beaten path" to meet Giancarlo and his wife, and to see their beautiful shop!
Gioielleria Eredi Jovon Venice 1.5 mi away
#1 of 389 Shopping in Venice
I have been shopping at Eredi Jovon for several years now and I have always received excellent and efficient service from Marco who runs the business with other members of his family.
I was delighted with my purchase, a most beautiful ring of the highest quality craft men ship and I would highly recommend visiting this shop if you want the best handmade quality jewellery in Venice.

Amazing shop, amazing owner , amazing costumes, worth visiting, we loved it , this shop made Venice very special
After several days of looking at hordes and hordes and hordes of mass produced, Chinese – made masks in all the souvenir shops, it was a relief to finally discover true artisans!

Fabulous little shop, selling authentic, handmade items including marbled paper, leather bound books, glass pens etc. Owners are extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
Artigianato d'Arte di Vianello Mauro Venice 1.5 mi away
#4 of 389 Shopping in Venice
Although there are countless glass shops in Venice, Mauro's pieces are, in my opinion the finest and his sea creatures are unique, luminescent and life-like.
The shop is also Mauro's workshop so you can sometimes see him creating these glass masterpieces which is a very special experience.

We were hooked into a free ride to Murano by another glass factory (new Murano) and we watched their quick presentation and then were marched into their museum and shopping store.

New Murano gallery Venice 0.2 mi away
#23 of 389 Shopping in Venice
Their chandeliers are absolutely magnificent and substantially more beautiful than the reproductions of Murano glass sold in many of the shops around San Marco's Square.
Although it was peak season, there were only two other people on our tour of the factory and shop, a welcome relief from the typical crowds.

Like typical artisan shops, the masks are relatively pricey with the cheapest ones being more than €20, and that stopped me from purchasing the first time I was in.

Brought the wife to this designer shopping centre to buy her a gift for her birthday and WOW, so many designers, helpful attentive staff and beautiful products, clothes, bags and everything you could ever wish to...
High end shopping, displays stunning, though I think most visitors -like us- head straight for the roof terrace for its amazing view over the Grand Canal and 360 views over Venice.

Incredibly fun shopping experience

Vetreria Artistica Colleoni
#2 of 59 Shopping in Murano
After that we spent about an hour shopping in all of the "stalls" that made up the colleoni coop of about 15-20 artisans.
The glass maker showed us the process for making a large blown glass jug and a sculpted horse, we then were given a voucher to spend in the shop so the tour was a fantastic price!

Get up and go early when it’s just the housewives doing their shopping and enjoy a wonderful selection of fresh fruit, veg and fish to bring back for your dinner.
In addition to the tremendously popular fish and vegetable areas, the markets have myriad shops and restaurants, some with outside seating by the Grand Canal.
