Great place to spend a day. We arrived around 10:30 and we didn’t have a ticket for the car and they were all sold out by that time, so I would recommend buying the ticket in advance. In this case you can hike to the beaches(5 km to the first beach 7km to the last) go by shuttle bus(10eur/person-I am not sure how often it goes),you can rent a bike (18eur). We chose hiking, it is very pretty and not a hard route, but it takes around 1 hour to get to the beach. Beach is nice and sandy.

Exceptional sandy beach with crystal clear water. Difficult to be beaten. It gets deep very fast, but the beach is great. Nice bar nearby.

We thought wow until we visited the Berchida beach in a 20-minute drive. The sea itself is equally beautiful, but the view around the beach can't beat the Berchida beach.

Nice, sheltered beach for families. A gentle access to the water for the little ones.
    Restaurant on site.
    Parking nearby on the street
Few beach sellers along the entrance road

This is a little beach close to the camping, restaurants and hotels/residencies in Sos Alignos. We were there in late september and the beach was not extremly crowded when we were there, but enough that it was sort of annoying. There was not that many people there, but beeing a small beach it quickly fills up. I suggest beeing there early and take a spot near the sea.

We tried several times to visit this Museo and it was always shut. We asked at the Tourist Information Office NB not a very user friendly lady, and we told that it opened on Thursday afternoon (we were out on a boat trip) and Friday PM (we had left Orosei by then) It's well signed posted and lots of posters, but not very accessible.

With all the marvelous sights and beaches around the area this place is definitely not worth it! My advice is to get the car and drive up north for just 10 minutes and find Berchidda beach, Capo Comino, Cala Ginepro and enjoy beauty and quietness!

Easy to get to and parking on a weekday was easy. Plenty of vendors to sell you an beach umbrella or beach towel. Beach wasn’t too crowded. Nice swimming area.

This church, and the area around should be visit if you are in Orosei, a great town to use as a base. The santuario was built over the centuries and has been fully renovated on the outside. The fresh painting and the sharp lines of the facade and the bell tower offer an ever-changing view with different light. The surrounding area with a square, bars and shops are a great place to spend the evening.
