During our time in Tuscany we visited a few Etruscan museums. This one stood out as all the remains on display had been found in one site nearby. The museum, therefore, told an interesting story both of the Etruscan past but also of the history of the site and its excavation.

We we out for a drive and ended up in Murlo. Small, clean and worth a stop if in the area. Unfortunately for us the Musesum was closed, only open Thur. To Sunday this time of year. Plenty of info outside . A display showed how the Etruscans cast their bronze figures. Went on Google to see about museum and plan to return. Buonconvento near by also a very interesting spot to visit . Just east of it on road 451 I think is a large convent,a must see

about Museum and plan to return .

We have been invited to this beautiful place to do some enduro test rides onboard Beta Motorcycles as part of a distributors meeting.

The accommodations are based on cottages which are spacious, very warm, well kept and can be easily set up to accommodate couples or families.

The scenery is out of this world on this place and properety is huge with many lakes, hills, and trails which allows you to go for long trips within the place.

Entrance is a tricky as it is a 2.5 km gravel road and I would recommend more signs to set up.

Now the most important part... the Tuscan food offered on a daily basis was amazing! There is not a single dish disappointed any of the attendees! Chef Angelo with his lovely smile, chubby figure, and loud voice made sure everyone is well fed and really cooked some of the best food i have ever tasted. Crustinis, pastas, risottos, fried vegetables, chicken.... all out of this world!!!

Another thing worth mentioning is the lovely kitchen staff and server. Three lovely ladies who are very efficient, polite, and accommodating.

For me I would recommend this place alone for the amazing food by chef Angelo and everything else is simply cherry on top!

Excellent support + logistics for a cycling trip which required transport of large bike boxes. Lorenzo found a solution (when other operators couldn’t) and organised everything. Great communication too. Would recommend.
