- Belinda SCalgary, Canada366 contributionsBeing good shoes. Walking on natural earth. Rocks. Trails are there however it can be rough. There is a point in the walking you can get down to a beach. Absolutely stunning and beautiful. Windy as we are looking at the ocean, however is nice. Beautiful experienceWritten September 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lucius Licinius LucullusWurzburg, Germany53 contributionsDuring low tide one can reach the small island by foot. However, this walk is not suitable for people who have issues with walking, since there is not really a clear footpath. The view is great, and the little chapel very picturesque.Written September 22, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Caradlm46Guernsey, UK305 contributionsWe picked up the trail having previously done a little walk to Cap D’Erquy. Definitely nothing blue about the Lac Bleu (!), but the views over Port D’Erquy made up for that. Would recommend trainers as the cliff path is really very rocky and unstable therefore no good if you have mobility issues.
There are less than 10 spaces in total at the Cape so you may find it easier to pick up the trail from the town.Written August 30, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The grounds downstairs rooms are open to the public on a guided tour on Thursdays, The tour is in French with no translation for other languages. There is a written translated card that can be taken on the tour. Be sure to get the one for the house. We were given the one for the gardens. That said, it was the tour guide who spotted the problem and got us the card for the house. The interior is interesting as are the grounds. This is a "stocking filler" attraction and worth the visit if you are passing or have time on your hands. It will take about one to two hours visit if you include a tour of the rooms.Written August 25, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The beach is unattended and has no facilities. Still, we went several days and enjoyed the beautiful settings, nice sand and clear (but cold) ocean. Not at all crowded, even during the summer. Recommended if you're in the area.Written August 13, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Claire MAmsterdam, The Netherlands213 contributionsMy partner & I spent some holiday in Erquy in August this year. He is originally from here but things have changed a lot so I have spent some time at the tourist information center.
The Front Desk assistants have identified our need in a really efficient & friendly way. They were friendly & nice. Knowledgeable & did give us the right tips : Maps & hiking cards :)
They speak English (as a second language) there is less marketing in English but still well organised. We are happy with the advised & information given by the 2 Front Desk AssistantWritten September 7, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
