- Rita ADubai, United Arab Emirates64 contributionsA must-Do when in Ramallah! Very important contribution to maintaining and documenting Palestinian heritage. Plus Zahran is ver hospitable and more than happy to spend lots of time explaining about his family and the old family home.
The house in itself us a real gem and his collection of photos and paintings depicting Palestinian heritage and also the plight of the people is very, very interesting, especially now!

I recommend you to look at the video that they are showing about Darwish because he really had philosophical things to say about Palestine and life itself. Made me think!Written March 7, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Daniel LApex, NC830 contributionsMuseum does a great job in laying out the history of the PLO and Palestinian cause, displaying a lot of events with accompanying evidence regarding past Israeli transgressions and the international relationship with Yasser Arafat. From an observer standpoint obviously they will have their own biases throughout, but very worth to see the perspective.
Additionally it was very cool to be able to see the bunker in which he hid in during the encirclement of this compound by Israeli forces.Written December 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sharon Lynchnyc19 contributionsIntimate Terrains is a masterfully curated exhibition of powerful, professionally executed, and exceptionally expressive work that reveals more of the Palestinian story and culture than any newspaper story or textbook will ever convey. The trauma, indignation, pride, and fury of an occupied, oppressed, and abused population is palpable. In the light-filled, intimate galleries, it was personal and powerful. I hope it is possible for the Museum to tour the show; it needs to be experienced by a wide audience. Most of the western world only hears one side of the story.
The Museum itself is impressive - a contemporary LEED building that integrates seamlessly with the terraced hillsides of of the area. We arrived late in the day and unfortunately just barely had time to view the exhibition and left without touring the entire building and surrounding gardens. I will make a point of returning and spending time exploring the grounds, other programs, and the adjacent university.Written September 1, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
