- Rafael SWashington DC, DC30 contributionsDon’t miss the museum at the top of the hill adjacent to the very famous St. Paul’s church facade. It does a beautiful job explaining the encounter between East and West and the peculiar history of Macau. Once the crush of one of the most crowded places on the planet gets to you, head for the Protestant cemetery next to the beautiful Camoes Park. Fascinating capsule history of Macau’s trading history in this secluded, moving, and well-maintained graveyard.Written April 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Juha KVantaa, Finland41 contributionsWe dropped by at Macau during our holiday in China as our daughter insisted to see a real Panda.
The Pavillon is located in the middle of a nice park area. Access to see the Pandas is free. There were four Pandas, each of them located in their own area. They were mostly eating or sleeping. We stayed about 30min there.Written February 20, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LeonhknyHong Kong, China23,923 contributionsTaipa is a must for all first-time Macau visitors. The small collection of alleys with colonial charm is the most popular attraction in the area. Nearly all tourist shops have an outlet here. This is also the best time to visit as the streets are not fully saturated at this moment.Written February 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Irina MMacau, China21 contributionsWe went for the Skywalk tour with the BNU credit card offer in June. When the promotion first started, it was rather crowded, and booking is highly recommended. However, we arrived in the morning, and was told that there are still spaces before 12 if we choose to do it straight away. That was a surprised for us and we were not sure if our 4 year old son will be scared. The cashier assured us that there are staff's children who went when they just learnt how to walk. Upon arriving at the deck, we had to do a registration with the ipad, but because we have to register for three people, another group of adults came to register and they were faster than us, they each register themselves using a separate ipad, and hence, they were given a number before us. The instructions weren't clear, we just followed people to collect our harnesses. We were told to sit down, and others sat somewhere else (no one sat next to us for a long long time), even those who collected their harnesses later than us sat somewhere nearer to the "queue". We asked why we are placed there for such a long time, only then we learnt that it was queued by the number and not by when we collect the harnesses, and we were not told that there will be a wait and we should walk around taking photographs before collecting harnesses like others did. So we sat and waited for more than an hour, not knowing what was going on. Apart from the bad administrative aspect, the activity was good, my son enjoyed walking out there, although he was a little scared. He was placed at the front of the queue for photo taking. I just hope AJ Hackett can improve on how they handle large crowd. Otherwise it’s a good experience.Written December 28, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RoverPInverness, UK797 contributionsAn ancient and attractive temple built into the hillside. There are several separate shrines linked by often narrow stairs. There are several large boulders where flat surfaces have been created for religious texts to be carved into them. It is clearly a functioning religious site and is not somewhere designed to attract the tourists, but it is certainly worth a visit.Written April 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
