Arrived at approx 2.30 on a Saturday afternoon, luckily found car park space immediately on side street but no other spaces(phew)!! We arrived from the left hand side of beach down some steps nearer to were some boats are in the water. Able to get a nice spot and noticed some loungers were also available. We were hungry so went to the Chiringuito de Cala Tarida. We had no reservation and it was really busy but had to wait no more than few mins and then we were shown to our beachside table and comfy sofa style chair overlooking beach, prime spot, lucky again and walked in to the bee gees playing!! . Had to wait a while to be served, turns out we should have had a QR code to scan on our table but it was missing. Again it was so busy snd found some people at the restaurant (they came from the boats) were quite demanding of waiters time , clicking fingers at them etc . Food was delicious but we ordered way too much. Salads were very well presented and plentiful more than enough as a main course but we had it as a side!! There was a little shop next door that had some nice bags and bracelets. The sea was mainly clear we walked along the front to other side of beach, the water was a little murkier in between but soon changed back to clear. It felt more busy the other side of beach so we walked back to our spot. It was a Saturday height of summer so busy and quite loud but glad we went for a few hours to check it out and still lots of space to be found at back of beach.
