This lovely country house is home to a locally celebrated outdoor theatre where, every summer productions of Shakespeare plays are performed by a very talented local company.
My wife and I enjoyed a lovely summer evening in the grounds of Tolethorpe Hall before entering the enchanting auditorium for a very high quality performance on par with any I have seen on the London stage .
