We got there around 10am and managed to grab some umbrellas and chairs which, with kids, was super useful for some shade.
It has a shallow part, near the boathouses, but the further you go out into the cove, the deeper it gets, and should only be enjoyed by decent swimmers - not for small children (in my opinion).

Found this beach by chance, thought that Cala Gran was the main beach but this little cove was simply beautiful, tucked away off the Main Street but ideal for families with young children.
Has to be one of our favourite beach coves on the island of Majorca, the water is calm and crystal clear so good for children.
