What travelers are saying
- john bUnited Kingdom2 contributionsBeautiful place to visit. Picturesque views, quaint shops and buildings. Unfortunately the prices of everything are extortionate and everything is over priced. €26 for a martini, €12.50 for a bottle of beer and €12 for a plate of chips! If you hunt around you can find a few cheaper places in the back streets. Definitely recommend going in several different supermarkets before buying your shopping as you can save a fair bit this way. Also, always check your bills as we have found that we had been charged for lots of additional things that weren't requested....
Would we come back? Unfortunately not. But it's another place off our tick box and we did make some great memories.Written November 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. End of October was quite windy but away from the sea, towards the center of Mykonos town, is less windy.Written October 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cassie HCalgary, Canada562 contributionsIt’s nothing to write home about but it’s a nice little walk and has great views of Little Venice. You don’t need to spend too much time here.Written November 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Bandit-OneLucerne, Switzerland10,512 contributionsIf you arrive by cruise and don't bother about a shore excursion and just want to go explore the town of Mykonos on your own, then this definitely the best option.
This company has a bunch of ships going back and forth between town and the new cruise port. Walked out of the cruise ship and just 2-3mins to the Sea Taxi here. One way costs only 2 Euros each, you can purchase to return ticket right away as well. The ships hold a good number of passengers and it takes about 10mins. A nice drive along the coast, nice views of your cruise ship as well if you're up on the deck instead of inside.
Did wait only a few minutes after boarding until we were on our way. A short wait on the way back as well.
Very easy, very convenient and at great value. Surely the best way to transfer.Written November 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Shops are the expensive sort with many high end brands. Tends to get busy when the cruise ships are in.Written October 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- CarlColchester, UK86 contributionsHoused in a beautifully simple space where the artwork does the talking. We were greeted by the friendly curators/owners of the gallery who were both charming and full of information about each artist, it was clear they were very passionate about art. Fabulous contemporary art from around the world, we loved it and would recommend visiting this fine gallery space.Written July 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RandyRossRidgetown, Canada12,815 contributionsWe stopped here on an excursion with Holland America. This is a nice museum and certainly worth a stop but our guide took way too long here (45 minutes) and went on and on about nothing.Written December 20, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Manjola XhabliTirana, Albania30 contributionsI have enjoyed a lot this beach. I have been on May of this year and it was really nice. Not too many people during that period and i felt like in paradise. Who likes and wants quiet places-beaches I suggest to go on May, after Mykonos is an island and there are too many tourists.
I loved that place and i will be again if i go to Mykonos.Written December 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is the actual house of Lena and the original clothes, furniture, house layout of the 19nth century are displayed. Two traditional dresses worn at those times are also displayed. This is a vanue that can easily be enjoyed by families with children. It is easily accessible and need less than 1 hour to enjoy.Written October 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - moonpoolHertfordshire, UK101 contributionsOverlooking the bay of Mykonos Town, this is a wonderful experience with the museum chronicling the archaeology from the sacred island of Delos and Rheneia and Mykonos. You can easily lose yourself here for a hour or so, away from the bustle of the tourists in Mykonos Town.Written October 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - kilsythladdieKilsyth, UK246 contributionsWithin walking distance of Mykonos town the beach is quiet and peaceful.
You can easily walk and paddle and swim.
There is a hotel on the far side which has a restaurant and bar facilities as well as a pool.
