Great experience! We loved it. We learned a ton about how the marble quarry works and they took us to several locations including a quarry INSIDE the mountain. The experience wasn't rushed and they allowed us a lot of time to see, touch, ask questions and take pictures. Definitely an experience you can't see in many places and I highly recommend adding this to your list of must do things in Italy!
We had a great time visiting the Carrara quarries! The scenery is absolutely beautiful and the history of mining industry in that area was very interesting to learn about. Our guide was very knowledgeable (if a little bit rough). Very glad we did this tour

Nicola is a geologist abd work in the minigng industry thus able to give a broad perspective in a clear and engadging way. Highly recomednded !
What a beautiful experience!!! I saw images of Carrara marble quarries in Google a few years ago and knew I had to come visit Lucca. Our tour guide Raffael was welcoming and well versed in his knowledge of the area we drove through as well as the Carrara marble quarries. Not only did we see the quarry from the outside but they also brought us inside of the mountains which was breathtaking. After that, we were brought to the town called Coronata, where we had lunch and some wine. It was a lovely day and an experience I’ll never forget
Gianni was a terrific tour guide and the bus driver was so great as well! He provided guests with some great facts and geography lessons, along with giving us time to walk around and explore on our own. We unfortunately experienced a tire blowout on the bus which caused us to be stuck on the highway for a bit. Gianni and the bus driver made some calls and were able to get us on another bus thank the Lord! Gianni notified our cruise ship on what had happened as we were a larger group of 54 (I think) and ensured that we would be able to get back on the ship. Gianni and the bus driver handled the situation extremely efficiently and professionally despite these unforeseen circumstances 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting Florence and Pisa!!
We had the best day with Luca. He engaged our entire family, provided invaluable information about the region, and made the day a lot of fun. We will definitely be back!
Unbelievable day with Gianmaria! Six of us toured Cinque Terre in a private minivan It was like traveling with a friend. Gian was very knowledgeable as well as accommodating and always professional. His recommendations were great! He took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch. We were back at the ship on time we would definitely tour with him again. You will not be sorry!
Walter was very congenial and informative about local history as well as the quarries. Through him we learned about the marble and met working artisans. It was an amazing experience to walk into the cave! The day was well worth the time and cost.
Our driver/guide was AMAZING! He showed us different places and explained to us about their history. He was patient, very friendly and punctual. It was our first time visiting Pisa and Florence and we fell in love with the architecture and vibe. We can’t wait to come back!
