    Great day on the coast with a wonderful guide
    We had an excellent day with Nunzio. We were picked up at our hotel in a very comfortable upscale van. The ride through the countryside was picturesque, and Nunzio filled us in with interesting facts about the different regions. We visited several towns along the coast. It was as beautiful and rugged as the pictures suggested. Nunzio took great care of us the entire day.

    Exciting trip to Carrara
    We had a great time visiting the Carrara quarries! The scenery is absolutely beautiful and the history of mining industry in that area was very interesting to learn about. Our guide was very knowledgeable (if a little bit rough). Very glad we did this tour

    Best trip in Carrara
    Brilliant tour with Nicola through the mountains of Carrara.
    The tour is very informative and Nicola is extremely knowledgeable about the history and processes of the marble quarries,
    On the day that we took the tour the weather was terrible at the beginning so Nicola gave us the option of cancelling the tour and getting a full refund or continue on and see if the weather changed,
    The other couple on the tour and ourselves decided to give it go ...... Nicola changed the usual route of the tour and swapped the stops around to keep us out of the weather and for the most part we managed to complete the whole tour without getting soaked from the rain.
    The Lardo tasting is definitely worth a try and this, along with a cold beer or soft drink was all included in the cost of the tour,
    We noticed on our tour that a number of the other operators had packed up and gone home which if you are on a tight schedule like we were would have meant missing out as we had no time to come back.
    We are so glad that we booked with Nicola as he made a great memorable trip out of what could have been a grim washed out day .... Thank you,

    Amazing trip up into the Carrara quarries!
    We signed up for the private tour of the Carrara quarries, and we’re driven up into the heart of the stone cutting area. Although we had a car and guide to ourselves while driving, the tour was given to 3 vehicles full of travelers. The 2 guides were very knowledgeable about the stone cutting process and had unbelievable access to the active quarries. We highly recommend this excursion!

    We do have a word of advice for the guides: given the active nature of the work going on around us, a few words of introduction and advice about safety, before leaving the meeting place, would have been helpful. We had no idea what to expect, and therefore there was some confusion among the group about expectations.

    Amazing and personable chauffeur!
    We had the most amazing chauffeur, di Maurizio Mancini. From the point of pick up, to drop off back at our ship, he was the most personal, professional and amazing host for our trip to Florence & Pisa. We can't thank him enough for making our vacation so special. Thank you again Maurizio for being YOU and having such a giving heart and warm smile!     Best day ever!
    Unbelievable day with Gianmaria! Six of us toured Cinque Terre in a private minivan It was like traveling with a friend. Gian was very knowledgeable as well as accommodating and always professional. His recommendations were great! He took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch. We were back at the ship on time we would definitely tour with him again. You will not be sorry!

    Our tour guide was exceptional and we had a wonderful time! Carlo was informative and we loved his flexibility.
    Wonderfully informative and we booked it last minute. Carlo was a great tour guide! We visited Lucca and Pisa. The website was easy to use too!

    Unforgettable Carrera
    Walter was very congenial and informative about local history as well as the quarries. Through him we learned about the marble and met working artisans. It was an amazing experience to walk into the cave! The day was well worth the time and cost.

    A wonderful in an around Carerra
    This trip exceeded our expectations we gave our tour guide Silvia a general idea of what we would like to do and she customized a tour for us. She limited the amount of walking as we requested. We have a mixture of new experiences since shopping a nice lunch a little village near the quarry. She stopped to let us take photos when requested And answered all our questions about ye area. Going underneath the mountain to the marble quarry was definitely an experience not to miss.

    Very impressive
    Great place where you can watch the mining of marble. Worth seeing is the small museum at the beginning. We didn't do a tour because we would have had to drive through the mountain with our own car behind a guide and only after that you get to the center of the marble quarry. We did not want to do that because after that the car would be from the fine marble jam!
