With the menu set, we embarked on a shopping tour through a top-notch cheese shop, boulangerie, and the outdoor markets (wonderful fresh fish, meat, poultry, vegetables, etc.).
... ingredients that we would use to prepare our lunch that included a variety of cheeses, watermelon gazpacho, fried carrots in butter and honey, fried cherry tomatoes, lemon cod, and a to-die-for chocolate fondant.

A great, great, great introduction to non-touristy fabulous food shops on Montmartre - Karen is a great guide, knows her stuff and makes the tour really fun.
We did the tickle my tastebud tour which was about two and a half hours going to authentic master markets (cheese, fish, baker, etc.) and ending up at a perfect Parisian cafe for a delicious lunch.

Aurore is a very knowledgeable teacher and she shared her understanding and love of French cuisine with us, inviting us into her home to chop, stir and enjoy a wonderful meal.
I took other cooking classes in Paris this trip, but Aurore's was the best food, most fun and she is a lovely, gracious woman!

It was great having Catherine teach us how to make profiteroles (which was the dish I most wanted to make) but also the best peach chutney I've ever tasted paired with an amazing duck breast.
After cooking we had a lovely lunch and an opportunity to visit with Catherine so we got some history (very interesting building she is in) some Parisian culture and more food talk.

Raymond introduced us to an accomplished affineur du fromage, an award-winning boulanger, a luxe chocolatier, and a marvelous meringue artist, and we enjoyed every site, smell, taste and minute of the tour.
Raymond took my family and I on a heartfelt, culinary journey filled with everything from beautifully crafted pastries, to overwhelming all of my senses in such personal ways as to leave lasting memory.
