Beautiful house with loads of interesting historical and domestic items highlighting aspects of Chinese-Malay history. We especially liked the temple area, and guide Francis was excellent!

This temple is built on a hill and i think this may be the only temple which has 4 levels and you take a lift(like a tram) from level 1 to 2 and level 3 to 4. There is a small fee to take the lifts.

The area is huge and it is undergoing renovation. On top at level 4 is a huge Kuan Yin Statue.

After spending the morning at the nearby Kok Lok Si Temple we took as Grab to the base of Penang Hill. No queues to speak of really (about 10 mins to get a ticket and get on the train). It was quite busy at the top but after a look at the temple and mosque we set of on one of the Nature Walks which was fairly quiet.
Queue to get down to the bottom again was also not too bad.
All in all a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

It was an amazing experience, from the time we went in released the butterflies, had an warm welcome from Izan (I think that was her name) and a brilliant explanation about the butterflies from Remy. Worth the experience! We went for the Bug Exploration and there was a Gecko was just the most adorable creature. Thank you team for the wonderful experience will be back with visitors next time.
