Playa Del Jablillo

Great small beach, ideal for young families or swimming in the shallow clear water, fabulous coloured fish on view all the time, water sheltered from the main ocean and winds by man-made rocks.
Excellent beach and cove, ideal for children and adults, good for snorkelling, swimming and even feeding fish.

The track itself is brilliant, great fun with a good selection of karts, The staff (especially Ducky) are fantastic and really went the extra mile to help look after the kids who were a bit nervous .

Jardin de Cactus Guatiza 6.0 mi away
#1 of 3 things to do in Guatiza
Lunch: children enjoyed the 'jardin de cactus fruit juice cocktail', adults enjoyed the excellent coffee (cappucinos seem to come with cinnamon on top in Lanzarote, which is actually very nice but just be aware).
Good day out, maybe a bit boring for younger kids but the gardens are well nurtured and exquisite in their variety of fauna.

We visited yesterday during a thunderstorm with our children (age 4 and 5).
Castillo de Santa Barbara Teguise 5.2 mi away

We visited this castle as we had read about how great the views were but the castle itself is fantastic with interesting displays aimed at younger children but we found it thoroughly enjoyable and interesting.
Admission is a few Euros and the pirate exhibition is aimed at kids, but is quite informative nonetheless.

A wide selection of shops for all the family including a children’s indoor soft play area and shops like Pull and Bear and Stradivarius, definitely worth a visit for a bit of retail therapy while on holiday.
Especially on Sunday afternoon, packed with local families & loved seeing the kids play on little remote controlled cars & Disney animals (which were controlled by the parents) been coming here for years, usually...

Museo de la Pirateria Teguise 5.2 mi away
#6 of 10 things to do in Teguise
The museum is quite small so each section is fairly brief but this helped to keep our children interested (along with the pirate theme) and they absorbed the history well.
Kids will find the pirate museum fascinating, (as did we).
