What travelers are saying
- Raymond R2 contributionsThis was our first day in Banff.
The views were spectacular. The size of the valleys are so much bigger than the BC Coastal mountains and the Rockies are very majestic mountains. The combination was breathtaking!
The top of Sulphur Mountain provided those spectacular views. The summit amenities were first class including the Sky Bistro.Written October 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! No pictures can do justice to the majestic beauty of this place!
I'm glad the authorities are doing their part in protecting the environment by restricting traffic into Moraine otherwise it'd end up like Lake Louise - over-commercialised.Written October 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The effort is paid off once you get to the top and you see that majestic blue water down below in the shape of a wolf. You will be glad that you made the effort. Great things are always worth the effort.Written October 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Leeza ArkhangelskayaNaples, FL36 contributionsThe scenery is stunning in the fall. We took a boat cruise, but it is enough to just enjoy it from shore. Legend has it the lake is haunted by evil sea spirit!Written October 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Metis galChilliwack, Canada301 contributionsSuch a beautiful Lake. We had a tough time trying to book a Shuttle here. My daughter was us before dawn and drove here before sunrise to do the Bee Hive Hike. She then drove back to Banff where we were staying and after much frustration, managed to book a shuttle a bit later in the afternoon with Via Via Shuttle. They were great! The price was reasonable and the driver was very friendly and knowledgable with a great sense of humor.
We had enough time at both places as our group was small and were on time getting to the shuttle.
We thought it was kind of busy at Lake Louise for it being later in the day but it was lovely to see, we all enjoyed Lake Moraine better though.Written October 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Our guide, John, was patient, knowledgeable, and encouraged us to push past our comfort zones in a safe and empowering way. We learned so much about the history of the area and the cave and had a blast while doing so!Written September 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
