- RoyaltyCCalgary, Canada443 contributionsFirst time visiting Laguna beach. Heisler Park is beautiful with lots of palm trees and other plants. I was there on a sunny Monday holiday in January. There were quite a few people going for walks with family or pets. It was too cold for swimming. I was walking the park for an hour before meeting up with family for lunch at a restaurant nearby. I would love to return to the area and spend more time soaking in the fresh air and the magnificent ocean view.Written February 12, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nina CAustin, TX14 contributionsThis amazing garden is a must see. The succulent garden alone was worth the $5 admission fee. So many varieties of flowers, trees, plants and ferns plus an indoor area with orchids. They packed so much in to this very easily walkable space. We loved it!Written February 11, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sondra DPhoenix, AZ2 contributionsJust came back from this beach, 2 days ago! Still sore from climbing 1000 steps down and then up!! We didn't think we'd make it, but we did! Wow, what a challenge, for the average person. The beach is quaint and beautiful, the tide was high, there were few people and it's indeed clean! The beach looks so beautiful, with the sun beaming down on it! It's a marvelous sight to see, there was a sailboat out yonder and a small yacht came speeding by. We lived in Cali for 26yrs, and this was our first time to this beach. I absolutely loved it! However, the steps are a challenge indeed. Going down, is a breeze, but coming up, that IS A CHALLENGE! I thought I was gonna die!! lol However, by taking my time and resting at each landing, I made it to the top!! Including , the steps to our car, parked on Pacific Coast Hwy. So, here I am two days later. Very sore, but in a good way! Motivated to keep on steppin! Would I do again? Yep, you bet I would, just won't forget to bring my drinking water and sneakers.Written June 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chris R341 contributionsWe visited on a Monday. When we arrived (around 10:30-11:00) people were enjoying the beach but it wasn’t too crowded.
The beach and the nearby park were both clean and beautiful.
There is ample parking (it costs $). It’s a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the beach. Going to the beach wasn’t bad (downhill). Going back up the hill took some time. I wouldn’t recommend walking to the beach if you or anyone in your party has mobility issues.
When we left around 3:30 the beach was much more crowded.
Very beautiful. Would visit again.Written July 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. As the title says, it might be the most amazing looking beach that I've seen.
We stayed mostly to the side of the Main Beach area but had a blast even though the water was colder than I thought it would be.Written August 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We stumbled on to this thanks to Trip Advisor and it was well worth the time. We were able to interact with staff (or volunteers? I didn’t ask) and they were engaging and informative.
This is a small facility and due to them being in the healing process you aren’t allowed to get super close, but plenty close enough to see the closest pool and watch them play and interact.Written June 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
