Well worth a visit down the tunnel to the engine sheds and workshops to see them up close and being worked on.It is a very well kept station with helpful staff who are all volunteers.

We did think of catching the bus back to Whitby but as it was such a good walking day we did the Cleveland Way Walk back which was tough in parts but fabulous and well worth the effort to complete
