Popped into the Tea room and enjoyed a Cafe Latte plus a Homemade cake all for under £5,also the staff were very friendly and helpful too, well worth a visit
The staff at the visitor are a fount of amazing knowledge and their advice is gold a good starting point to walks in the area.I cant wait to come back!

They have a gift shop with loads of local chocolates (the marzipan is delicious), candles, National Trust books and other items.
The staff were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and provided lots of information about the marine life in the aquarium which forms an impressive central point.

Worth going to if you need any information about the local area the staff are very friendly and as well as information and leaflets there are souvenirs to be purchased as well.
This can be used in any Scarborough Council District Public car park which I think is very good if you are staying over in Whitby and touring around the area.
