It's an amazing little step back in time to a more heroic era with stories and actual relics from the many shipwrecks that adorned the small patch of North Shields beneath the Watch House itself.
Unpretentious, unique, fascinating and very well worth a visit.

Excellent place to spend the day with the kids , visit pets corner, have a lovely walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery, lots of little trails off the beaten track for Junior explorer's.
Perfect for a stroll along the winding paths with our baby and buggy and equally as enthralling to use the paths as a running track, heading from the old mill area along the Ouse Burn right to the river.
