We loved our visit to this sheep farm. The animals were so cute and we had a lot of fun - even without children in tow. Be sure to stay for the herding demonstration, it was the highlight of our visit!

If you do have kids, you might have to factor in more time as there's an amazing play area outside as well.

Very beautiful place to stay closer to nature. There are walking paths through the dunes and those will take you to different landscapes. The wind here can be so strong and as a result it will be so cold. You don't see big trees here although it is a national park, mostly small bushes and sand dunes. But the views are amazing. Ideal for an evening walk.

My partner and I visited Ecomare after having done a seal boat tour (by which we were gravely disappointed, but that's another story), and although we only had 1,5 hour to spend there before closing time, we were very impressed. The aquarium is a bit dated, but both the exhibition on plastic etc. and the whale room were excellent. I would have loved more information on their rescue missions though.

The absolute highlight however were the feeding times, where we could actually see the seals and their personalities, and talked to one of the zoo keepers, which we enjoyed immensely. Be sure to stay a little bit after all the outside animals have been fed and position yourself in front of the window at the sanctuary, where the weakes seals are taken care of. You can see real behind-the-scenes action there.

Again you have not failed to impress. Today I arrived late for the birds of prey show, but went in to view the changes made since I was here last year. Added a few more different attractions, which were set out and housed very well. Always makes me smile to walk around your tropical area and have the birds flying past me. Love the interaction and watching people spot another beautiful bird, where to look first! Well done will continue to visit every year when I come to visit family.

This is a really quirky museum that the whole family enjoyed. It’s mind-blowing how much stuff can be retrieved from the sea - the love box was my favorite! Cake, coffee & playground at the end was also very welcome!

In the zelfpluktuin you have the opportunity to harvest you own fruit. This time of the year it were different type of berries, including strawberries
After the pick you can have a cup of coffee with fresh fruitcakes, which we advice to do.

Wow, unparalleled customer service! I made a mistake with the ordering of a ticket and bought 2 iso 1. At 6:00 in the morning I mailed a request for a refund of the extra ticket. Got a confirmation in about 30 minutes! Incredible!

Next to that the the crossing is very smooth and comfortable.

Many thanks to the organisation of Teso.
