From Pozzallo walk along the beach for 11 km!
From Pozzallo you can walk along the beach in the direction of santa Maria di Focallo and beyond for 11 kilometres. The sand is firm and ideal for walking or running, occasionally you have to go over a rocky bit to continue but only a couple of times. The whole long beach is really clean and safe - no rubbish, no stray dogs. there are some sand dunes behind in some places. The sea is clean and stays shallow for quite a way out so safe for children. The sand is a dark golden colour so the impression isn't transparent caribbeam effect, but the water is clear. We saw jumping fish too......! One of my favourite beaches ever and well-kept secret ....ok it was end September but the beach was practically empty and is soooo long I can't think it can ever be really crowded. Fantastic.....

Local teens are the tour guides!
The evening I went local kids were the tour guides and they were very enthusiastic and informed. The entry was free and the tour was not long but I enjoyed the experience. This fort could be developed further but I think the same can be said about a lot of the south of Sicily. Lots of tourism potential.

quiet beach
It is a nice and quiet beach club.
The beach is perfect and sunny. It is crowded in weekends but weekday was fine. There are some bars located along the beach. The sea is super blue and clean.
If you are in the vicinity of Pozzallo you should not miss this beautiful beach.

Lovely Piazza to sit and enjoy surrounds !
We found this Piazza very relaxing to sit out in the sun and enjoy a drink and nibbles from the cafe close to us. Overnighted here for the ferry next morning to Malta.

Very near Brezza Marina
The shore was not as shallow as the other beaches and hiring an umbrella plus two deck chairs was a couple of euros less

Excellent day trip in Sicily
We took a day trip from Malta to visit Sicily. Everything was arranged through Taxi Carbonaro and it was excellent. Giuseppe picked us up with the tour guide and it was excellent.
He was ready to pick up at every location on time and made this journey so successful. Highly recommended 👍

The Palazzo on the cover of this activity is Palazzo Pandolfi which is located in front.
Another beautiful Palace in Piazza Rimembranze, this has a beautiful entrance porch with a pair of three columns close together, beautiful balconies with wrought-iron railings
