- Steve FFernhurst, UK30 contributionsAfter doing the castle tour, we decided we’d treat ourselves to coffee and cake, if we could find a place that wasn’t a bar selling coffee. We spotted the Bicycle Guard art installation and then looked at the decorated painted tables and thought, worthy of further investigation. We wandered in and were blown away by the quirky and tasteful art and just great authentic vibe. This was no chain!
The cake was delicious and coffee first rate. We bought a ceramic pot as well.
And finally it has to be said - everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. If you are in the area I truly recommend to visit this romantic place. It is surprisingly richly decorated and one can feel touch of history once inside.
