A short walk from a small car park brings you to a beautiful large beach backed by grassy hills and cliffs, with rock pools when the tide is out, There are good views of Colonsay or Jura in the distance.
It's a breathtakingly spacious white sand beach, with interesting rocks at either end, those on the far right by the hill fort being best perhaps as a base for sheltered or private swimming.
