I recently lost my orange shoes with socks in them on the beach today ( 24. September 2024). Right side of the dock. Please contact me if you find them!

The walk down to the beach is well worth it. Do not be put off by some of the descriptions regarding it’s difficulty and how long it takes. My wife , me and two children did it and it took roughly one and a half hours to get down and surprisingly the same amount of time to get back up. Getting back up was not nearly as hard as I thought it would be and actually went by rather quickly. I am 68 years old and in good shape and had no difficulty with the walk. We all did it in sneakers with no problem , but I would suggest a hiking shoe of some sort. You don’t need any ankle support necessarily. The beach is lovely, the walk is very scenic, and towards the end on the way down is a large rock pinnacle that must be at least 300 meters tall and there were a few rock climbers at the time which made for a stunning view – they were like ants on a hill.

Fascinating guided tour of this beautiful cave, reachable only by boat (or extreme SCUBA..!) accessed from a landing stage via steel staircase up the cliff (moderate fitness required, not for the disabled). A very interesting and genuinely knowledgeable local guide took us round the show cave, which is still being explored.

I mean, for the beautiful scenery pictures speak thousand words.

I just cannot fathom how is it possible that one of the two only beaches with services on a route were thousand of people pass by each day can have such horrible toilets. You either can go there or to cala sisine. It should not be rocket science to have paid toilets there with someone monitoring and cleaning up once in a while. I will spare you the graphic details, but the only working toilet was a humiliating experience.

Anyway, 4 stars as it would be unfair to ruin the rating because of the services, but they should seriously consider offering a decent service for a fee rather than a free toilet nightmare.

Spectacular beach. Beautiful setting and scenery. Well worth the trip. It is pretty full but very well maintained in my view

A little gem to discover in Sardinia by boat, tickets from, Siniscola, Arbatax and Santa Maria Navarrese ports.
New in 2017, it is the first capped visitors beach on the island to avoid overcrowding and ruin its beauty, unfortunately not everyone respects nature but it has been reported that pigs have visited Sardinia and have trashed beaches all over the island, please respect nature to keep it protected by taking away your rubbish, there is no cleaning service in such secluded beaches, help protect them and enjoy it.

The arrange is off limits! Boats, swimming and snorkeling are for-bid-den!! It is dangerous, today Sardinia buried a young lady killed by a tree that fell from the cliff.

You can get there by car but it's a much better idea to hike from Santa Maria Navaresse - the route is absolutely beautiful!

Comparing with other beaches I visited on Costa Esmeralda this one is a normal one. The water is perfect, a little area with vegetation, a small corner where you can have shadow, access from the sea, a small bar, no showers and the usual problem with the small rocks which are forming the beach...no sandy beach.

We came here as a boat tour we were going on departed from here. Lovely Port to walk around and admire the views and yachts. A lovely Gelateria only five minutes walk away too. Worth a visit if nearby.

We were fortunate to visit during feragosto so there were festivals and parades. On two nights that we were there multiple congregations participated in a parade through town all the way to the chiesa. Seeing all the participants, some in traditional garments, was so special.
