- Gareth KGreater Manchester, UK114 contributionsA true oasis on a lovely clean beach with a sparkling sea that's calm to swim in.
Nicely appointed bungalow rooms with everything you need from a kettle air con and a safe.
The food and drink is maybe 30% more expensive than the main land but its affordable as you are enjoying it in a stunning location. Choice of 4 restaurants nearby 3 of which are owned by the same hotel group. Private speedboat to get to the island was great fun.Written January 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You have to leave your Thai ID or international passport on entering and then pay a small fee to go to the beach. When the beach is crowded or at weekends you may have to use the transport provided to go from the ticket office to the beach itself. The beach is beautifully maintained and clean with a number of restaurants available. The only thing we found most unpleasant was the number of stray dogs wandering around the place. At one stage, we saw one of them crouching on top of one of the tables on the beach where plates of food had been left – eating the food off the plates. Not just unpleasant but a health hazard. The beach has prominent signs prohibiting smoking, but it would be equally or more important to enforce a rule that dogs were not allowed.Written November 28, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RyanamstlvnAmstelveen, The Netherlands91 contributionsMost beautiful beach on Koh Samed. Wherever you are on the island, hire a scooter or get on the bus and go here in the morning when the sea is calm for a swim and lunch. The sand is so soft and white. Put your towel out on the beach under a tree and enjoy the beauty and piece. This is how beaches are supposed to be.Written August 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RyanamstlvnAmstelveen, The Netherlands91 contributionsWe stayed here 6 nights and were concerned beforehand if we choose the right beach. Well we did. Why? There is enough going on, sometimes too much with boats with locals dining in the middle but we stayed at Vinmarn. Great location at the quiet end of the beach. Also great place to walk easily to Ao Cho and Ao Nuan beach which a way more relaxed and escpecially Ao Nuan which is small and quiet.

- capsicum0620Thailand1,044 contributionsOff the beaten tracks, this nice beach is one of the very few Koh Samet places not yet invaded by the Chinese hords of tourists.
It also features a small resort (Ao Nuan Bungalows) with an excellent restaurant).
One of the best spots on the island.Written February 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. If you want to visit here you should stay at Paradee resort coz the beach is in front of this resort. It's very nice in the morning.Written October 29, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- gordonj258Blackpool, UK6,351 contributionsAo Cho is a really pleasant small beach. It is quiet, there are a few restaurants and low rise hotels here. There isn't a lot to do other than enjoy the peace and quiet plus the swimming.Written July 21, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BangkokSachseBangkok, Thailand52,924 contributionsWe took free speed boat from Ao Prao Pier. The pier was busy but organized. There are not enough seats at the pier. There are truck taxis outside the pier. We took an island tour from the pier.Written November 26, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
