This is a beautiful place and worth a visit. It is also an interesting place to photograph because of the shadows.

It is usually quiet and relaxing.

There is a river nearby as well as a playground.

Revisited an old haunt for a drink and snack. Pretty busy with locals and a band was setting up to play later. The snack menu was typical pub fare I opted for a sandwich and my wife for a baked potato which were both ok but not outstanding. There were some nice real ales available Prices are reasonable our bill for the food, a pint and a soft drink was £17.00

Booked a table here as convenient location to meet friends. Rural area, so impossible to rearrange upon discovering that it didn’t feel very COVID secure.

No one way system. No sanitiser available upon entrance. All staff youngsters - as we know, young people possibly most a symptomatic transmitters of COVID - none of whom wearing masks. None of whom attempted to keep distance from diners.

Lovely pub, lovely setting, good food but won’t visit again whilst this virus still circulating.
