To start we were blessed with perfect weather, after a brief introduction we headed into the vineyards where James talked about the different varieties of grapes and different methods of wine making.
Lovely afternoon spent sipping great English sparkling wine in amongst the vines, at this beautiful family vineyard.

- The general setting is wonderful - Gardens are a delight and the gardeners approachable and friendly - What a lovely team - shop, restaurant, guide, volunteers all charming - A great restaurant/cafe.

This is a lovely Abbey to walk around and picnic in .. its full of history and a touch of Arthurian legend and on a sunny day it's a beautiful place to sit, eat and watch the world go by .. definitely recommend

Yes their are many stairs up to the Tor, so you may need to take your time but it’s so worth it when at the Tor. the views are breathtaking and the feeling of peace and calmness make it worth the climb.
