Paycocke's House and Garden
#1 of 1 Nature & Parks in Coggeshall
There's a little free on-street parking, or a large free car park next to the Grange Barn, included in your admission fee for Paycocke's and a short distance up Grange Hill, just across the river on the right.
Parking - Beryl,Liz,Jean,Glenda, Hilary and me all managed to park directly outside the Paycockes house in the main road through the village - a great start.
Marks Hall Gardens and Arboretum Colchester 2.0 mi away

Whatever the season there is always something to see at Marks Hall, whether it's just the peace and quiet of the park and the airfield memorial, the walled garden, the wildlife or the shop and restaurant.
There is a memorial section, a small play park for children, a superb walled garden with resident peacocks and a picturesque lake with some very hungry carp!

A brilliant zoo for learning and enjoying many wonderful animals, the zoo has an amazing relationship with the wild and as such is very aware of its responsibilities to protect nature for many generations to come.
It is perfect for families, lots of parks for children, there is a little petting zoo, you can met one of the big horses, see the llamas and alpacas, walk in with the goats.. and feed them!
