- Ming LingMarbella, Spain433 contributionsNice and lo g white sanded beach in the south of spain, has chiringuitos on beach but if looking for good food you can easily get off beach and find many different and cozy restaurants in the little town nearby it!Written June 14, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cadiz_loverLondon, UK31,498 contributionsThe 45 minute tour will include a demonstartion lasting about 8 minutes of how to "fillet" a tuna. The expert cutting of the different parts of the fish is fascinating. The taster of roducts at end plus chance to buy some makes the 5 Euro cost reasonable.Written July 3, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ken W4 contributionsFeeling numb in a world of virtual reality? Look no further than Barbate’s open air fish market to resuscitate your senses with a rush of positive and satisfying faire.
Often noisy, smelly and a little crowded, it never fails to seduce with plethora of sea treasures not found in your neighborhood supermarket.Written July 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Lots of kite surfers to the south and a long wide beach to walk to the north. Enjoy!Written January 2, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Patricia SLeicestershire, UK145 contributionsWe walked to the lighthouse along the beautiful, unspoiled beach. It's a memorable place to visit. We've heard that there is a rich businessman trying to get permission to convert the lighthouse into a boutique hotel and shut off access to the public. This is currently being fought in the courts, and I hope it doesn't happen as it would be terrible to deny public access to such a historic and iconic landmark.Written November 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ken W4 contributionsClean, family friendly beach with mild slope into deeper water, generally calm water and all the services you need along the boardwalk.
A wonderful beach experience, whether only for a day or a week, or more.
Located conveniently close to Jerez Airport, Cadiz and more hip towns like Vejer or Zahara de los Atúnes.
The city of Barbate is distinctly “de Andaluc,” but if you find the Andalucían culture charming, you will not regret clutching this “working class” pearl close to your heart.Written July 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ania P3 contributionsA great experience in every respect, from the initial phone conversation to book, to the actual ride, to receiving photos of the ride the day after.
We were four friends who all ride regularly, but the evening at Centro Hipico Zahora was a very special highlight even for experienced riders. We loved how tailor-made the experience was, Simone took all our preferences into consideration and was very accommodating. All staff we met were absolutely lovely, the horses spirited but well behaved and in very good condition, tack also in good condition with comfortable saddles. The route was picturesque and with a varied landscape, from pine forest to the beach including the Trafalgar lighthouse. All in all, we had a great evening and we still talk about it 3 weeks later.Written June 14, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We visited at the end of September and had this magnificent beach almost to ourselves. As the other reviews say its at the end of a dirt road but don't be put off as we managed to get there without any problem. There is no shade so make sure you take something and no café or bar. Be warned, its clothing optional. The few people that were there seemed a happy mix of naked, topless and full swimsuit, all minding their own business.Written October 16, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - hem0116Leicester, UK574 contributionsThis is where the tuna boats depart during the 6 week eason. large numbers of anchors seem abandoned but are used for the tuna nets. Small cafe on site with a model explaining how the tuna traps are set up.Written May 19, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
